April  21    Geronimo, LIfe on the Reservation
An hour-long dramatic presentation by Rudy Ramos, 7pm, $20 adults; $10 middle and high school students.


April 27 & 28     Civil War Days
Har-Ber Village, a pioneer-era museum, presents its 6th annual Civil War Days event on April 27 and 28, 2018. Gain a better understanding of Civil War history, hear the perspectives of a variety of re-enactors, and learn facts about history that you may not have learned in school! Activities include demonstrations, hands-on stations, re-enactments, and vendors.

May 12        Bay of Pigs, Beatle Mania & Barbie Doll: Remembering the 1960s
Each month, May through September of this year, Har-Ber Village is celebrating its 50th anniversary by highlighting a different decade of its 50 years. In May the sights and sounds of the 1960s will be brought to life through music, documentaries, displays of memorabilia, cars, toys, games and more from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Then dance to the sounds of the sixties and enjoy a theme-based dinner from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Conclude the evening by watching  Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, the movie chosen through a survey of Har-Ber Village friends and members.

June 2     7th Annual Hastings Shade Memorial Storytelling
Cherokee storytellers gather for the 7th Annual Hastings Shade Memorial Storytelling on Saturday, June 16, starting at 4:00 p.m. in the Picnic Pavilion at Har-Ber Village Museum in Grove, Oklahoma.  Featured storytellers may include members of the Turtle Island Liars Club (Sammy Still, Woody Hansen, Sequoyah Guess), Janelle Adair, Robert Lewis, Ryan Macky, Choogie Kingfisher and Herschell Thompson. All storytellers are welcome to attend and share their stories! The event is free of charge.

A music and dinner fundraising event for Har-Ber Village Museum starting at 6:30 p.m. Details forthcoming.

June 16        Bell Bottoms, Bicentennial & BeeGees: Remembering the 1970s
Each month, May through September of this year, Har-Ber Village is celebrating its 50th anniversary by highlighting a different decade of its 50 years. In June the sights and sounds of the 1970s will be brought to life through music, documentaries, displays of memorabilia, cars, toys, games and more from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Then dance to the sounds of the seventies and enjoy a theme-based dinner from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Conclude the evening by watching  Grease, the movie that was chosen through a survey of Har-Ber Village friends and members.

June 18-20     Ages 9 to 13 years Youth Camp: Where the Sidewalk Ends: Nature & Art, 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m

July 9-13        Ages 9 to 13 years Youth Camp: Blast from the Past, 9:30-noon

July 16-17  Grades K thru 2nd Youth Camp: Going Buggy for Nature, 9:30-noon

In July the sights and sounds of the 1980s will be brought to life through music, documentaries, displays of memorabilia, cars, toys, games and more from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Then dance to the sounds of the eighties and enjoy a theme-based dinner from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Conclude the evening by watching Raiders of the Lost Ark, the movie that was chosen through a survey of Har-Ber Village friends and members.

August 1-3    Ages 9 to 13 years Youth Camp: Camp Bots, 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m

August 6-7         Grades K thru 2nd Youth Camp: Art Antics, 9:30-noon

August 18      Pokémon, Pogs & Piercings: Remembering the 1990s 
Each month, May through September of this year, Har-Ber Village is celebrating its 50th anniversary by highlighting a different decade of its 50 years. In August the sights and sounds of the 1990s will be brought to life through music, documentaries, displays of memorabilia, cars, toys, games and more from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Then dance to the sounds of the nineties and enjoy a theme-based dinner from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Conclude the evening by watching Forest Gump, the movie chosen through a survey of Har-Ber Village friends and members.


September 13 and 14      Murder Comes a Courtin'
A 1994 murder mystery theater that took place at Har-Ber Village has been rewritten and will be presented in honor of Har-Ber Village's 50th anniversary. This entertaining evening will provide clues for participants to solve the mystery! Dinner and music will be included in this Har-Ber Village fundraiser. Additional details forthcoming.

September 15      Y2K, MP3 & 9/11: Remembering the 2000s
Each month, May through September of this year, Har-Ber Village is celebrating its 50th anniversary by highlighting a different decade of its 50 years. In September the sights and sounds of the 1960s will be brought to life through music, documentaries, displays of memorabilia, cars, toys, games and more from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Then dance to the sounds of the 2000s and enjoy a theme-based dinner from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Conclude the evening by watching Remember the Titans, the movie that was chosen through a survey of Har-Ber Village friends and members.

October 12 and 13     Pioneer Days
On October 12 and 13, experience Har-Ber Village Museum’s 6th annual Pioneer Days event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Transport back to a time when it was possible to survive without cars, fast food restaurants, cell phones, microwaves and the internet! Enjoy a simpler, hands-on way of life as volunteers demonstrate skills that made our pioneer ancestors self-reliant.  Visit with living history reenactors. Participate in many hands-on activities. Friday is geared specifically toward schools; Saturday, the public and scout groups.

November 2 and 3
    Cherokee Heritage Days
Experience the culture of the Cherokee Nation on November 4 and 5, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. during Cherokee Heritage Days. This day of cultural enrichment and fun. Crafts, food, music, games and more will be part of the days’ festivities. To honor the heritage of ALL the tribes in this area, Har-Ber Village admission will be free on Saturday to anyone presenting his or her tribal ID. Friday is geared specifically toward schools; Saturday, the public and scout groups.
