Becca Martin wrote in the Morning News of Springdale, Ark. in July of 1992,"Har-Ber Village is a love story literally carved of stone, a tribute to the relationship of a couple not just with each other but with their community, their past, and the generations yet unborn."
   
         The Covered Wagon was used for many purposes in the Old West.  The one at the Village is a cook wagon used on cattle drives.

  

This is a replica of the Hanging Gallows used in the early days by "Hanging" Judge Parker at Fort Smith, Ark.  There are 13 steps and 13 twists in the knot of the hanging rope.
  
This Old-Time Waterwheel was designed by Harvey Jones and built in the shops of Jones Truck Lines, Inc. Springdale, Ark.  It is made of redwood timber, and the flume is copper and cedar.  A single cup of water will make it turn.
